Objective
The Distance Learning Program on Food Safety of Department of Food Science and Technology is designed to accelerate the transfer of knowledge and understanding of food safety to professionals, governmental institutions, food industries, and students in Indonesia. The program is expected to have impacts on increasing the competitiveness of national food industries as the effect of the increase awareness on the implementation of food safety principles in the chain of food production system. The program is delivered in form of online system (website).
We have also expanded our service for this Distance Learning program, by introducing a public page containing trivial and useful informations for the general public. We have and are planning to post daily food safety informations, issues in food security, various basic processing of food, health and nutrition facts and more. Scope of Program (subscription only)
The Distance Education Program is offered in three areas of food safety as follows:
Level 1 : Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in Food Industry
Level 2 : Food Sanitation and Hygiene in Food Industry
Level 3 : Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plan
Participants
The distance learning program can be participated by:
- Professionals in food industries (such as food supervisors)
- Small-medium enterprises in food sectors
- Governmental institutions (such as food inspectors)
- Students in country or abroad (Diploma or Undergraduate program)
- General audience
